We are so glad you are visiting the recruitment section of our website to learn more about the Panhellenic Community and how you can become a part of it! With 12 incredible chapters on this campus, we are confident there is a place for you to call home. Please take your time to look around this section to get a glimpse of what Greek Life is like at Tech. To clarify a common question, at Virginia Tech we hold "deferred recruitment," meaning that formal recruitment occurs at the beginning of the spring semester.  To gain more information about Recruitment, we encourage you to attend interest events that will be held in the Fall.  Also, please sign-up for the Listserv to be e-mailed valuable information about recruitment, including the dates of events where you can get a chance to meet members from sororities on campus.  Do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have by e-mailing VTRecruitment2011@gmail.com !  We look forward to meeting you.
Panhellenic Love,
The 2010-2011 Recruitment Team

Dear Potential New Members,

On behalf of the Panhellenic community, I would like to welcome you to Virginia Tech! We hope that life as a Hokie has been enjoyable thus far and that you are ready to explore all the possibilities for involvement at Virginia Tech. We are fortunate to have such an extensive array of opportunities on our campus, and among those is the chance to take advantage of a very large and ever-growing Panhellenic community through sorority recruitment. Hundreds of women on our campus have already discovered this wonderful experience and we are excited for you to do the same!

During Formal Recruitment, we hope to show you just what is so special about Greek Life at Virginia Tech. The experience of being Greek is one that we take with us even after our four years here. The memories and friendships you will make during Formal Recruitment and as a member of the Panhellenic community are lasting and unforgettable and will serve as a valuable network for your future. We hope that your decision to become a member of our Panhellneic community will enhance your college experience in all areas including academics, leadership, and community involvement.

While you are engaged in the recruitment process, I encourage you to take advantage of the unique opportunity to meet women from all twelve chapters. It will be of great value to you to keep an open mind, ask questions, and relax and enjoy the overall experience. Greek life at Virginia Tech has a lot to offer any woman, with twelve strong chapters; each has a wide variety of women proud to represent her own affiliation and our community. We are looking forward to hopefully sharing your experience during Formal Recruitment and welcoming you into our Panhellenic community!

Sincerely, Sarah
Vice President of Recruitment, Panhellenic Council of Virginia Tech
